English version:
The GPS will be used(like in 2209 PPG chempionship in Utena) in order to control the navigation tasks, therefore all participants must have at least 1 navigator of GARMIN production. The electronical Birzai region map is already prepared (including navigation point pictures). Shortly it should be uploaded in the forum. The paper version of the map will be given for every participant during registration.
The preliminary program of 2010 Lithuanias open PPG championship:
The 26th of August (Thursday)
11.00-16.00 – participants registration;
16.00-17.30 – introduction briefing (general rules of aerodrom, safety, the flights arrangement rules during championship etc.)
18.00-20.30 – equipment check and training flight in the competition flight air area
21.30-23.00 – the opening ceremony of 2010 Lithuanias open PPG championship and participants evening-party.
The 27th of August (Friday)
6.00-6.20 – morning coffe and snack
6.30-7.00 – championship first briefing (the new arbiter information, questions/answers)
7.15-7.45 – individual preparation for the morning flight
8.00-12.00 – competition flights
13.00-16.00 – dinner, rest, equipment preparation for the following flight
16.00-16.30 – the competition afternoon briefing (the new arbiter information, questions/answers)
16.45-17.15 - individual preparation for the afternoon flight
17.30-21.00 - competition flights
21.00-23.00 – supper and individual time
The 28th of August (Saturday)
6.00-6.20 – morning coffe and snack
6.30-7.00 – competition morning briefing (the new arbiter information, questions/answers)
7.15-7.45 – individual preparation for the morning flight
8.00-12.00 – competition flights
13.00-16.00 – dinner, rest, equipment preparation for the following flight
16.00-16.30 – competition afternoon briefing (the new arbiter information, questions/answers)
16.45-17.15 - individual preparation for the afternoon flight
17.30-21.00 - competition flights
21.00-23.00 – „last“ supper and individual time

7.15-7.45 – individual preparation for the morning flight
8.00-12.00 – competition flights
13.00-14.30 – dinner, preparation for leaving
14.30-15.30 – results announcment, rewards and closing the 2010 Lithuanias open PPG championship
15.30-... – leave-taking and going home
ATTENTION – the agenda may be changed during competition time (weather conditions, force majure and etc.). Agenda changes will be anounced during briefing time or uncommon competition attendents meeting will be held.
Requirements for the attendents:
Compulsory:
1. Valid PPG pilot license (for Lithuanian pilots who do not have the license yet a written permition in individual flight book from instructor is obligatory.).
2. Valid insurance policy (third
loses compensation is obligatory; health – prefereble)
3. Flight equipment technicly right and personal safety equipment
4. GPS navigator (GARMIN models: 60, 72, 76, Etrex, Oregon). It is useful to have personal navigator connection to computer.
Preferable:
1. Personal radio communication device (144-146 MHz or PMR)
2. Cell phone
3. Digital photo camera
